During their school years as close friends, Lee and Martin had early ambitions to serve their time in the construction industry and set up business together once they had gained the necessary experience.

Lee and Martin both landed joinery apprenticeships after leaving school at the age of 16. Although these were at separate companies, their close friendship and burning ambition to set up business stayed intact.

After flourishing in their apprenticeships and both gaining their advanced craft qualification (Carpentry and Joinery SVQ Level 3) they continued to working diligently as loyal employees and gained further experience in leading roles over the next few years.

In July 2015 Lee and Martin’s hard work and ambitious drive to set up business came to fruition with the formation and launch of SAS Joinery Ltd.

SAS Joinery Ltd. has been a huge success over the last seven years, with Lee and Martin carrying out various projects ranging from home extensions, building site works, to full house renovations and builds. Lee and Martin are enthusiastic about all aspects of joinery but the bespoke ‘think outside the box’ creative work is what they relish most and this is how they aim to continue their growth with further expansion in the world of zinc roofing and zinc wall cladding.
